Project Management Analyst

JOB SCOPE
The successful candidate will play a leading role in the delivery of multiple highly visible strategic Credit Risk programmes with the primary responsibilities of a Senior Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
The candidate will be a driven yet pragmatic, delivery focused mindset and a desire to deliver constant business value through the effective and innovative use of technology. The candidate will be expected to take ownership, responsibility and accountability for critical deliveries. In addition, the successful candidate will have come from a mature and demonstrable Agile and Business Analysis background and be comfortable dealing with the resistance that comes with change.
The candidate will work closely with the other team members and senior stakeholders to design and implement critical strategic solutions whilst collaborating and engaging with Business Stakeholders to deliver to exact requirements. The candidate is expected to work in a dynamic global team with business analysts, developers, project managers, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations while leading and helping to lead and build the local development team with the expectation that travel is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be required to work closely with the Business Stakeholders, Development Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analysts, and a team of developers/testers.
Technical Roles and Responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and formalize signoffs.

Meticulous attention to detail and strong focus on clear and requirements documentation.

Orchestrating the delivery of Credit Risk projects and working closely delivery teams including senior management, Development Manager, Project Manager, and a team of developers.

Deliver quality software in a time following Agile methodology.

Analyze problems raised in software development or production environments and provide timely solutions.

Acquire excellent understanding of bank&rsquos Credit Risk systems/architecture to provide meaningful solutions to business requirements and/or production issues.

Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of open source solutions and trending technologies

Good experience of delivering software based on user feedback and UI/UX.

Knowledge of other Agile approaches like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

Expert level knowledge of the Agile methodology and frameworks like DAD, SAFe, etc.

Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.

Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, user stories

Needs to be an expert in estimation and planning

Understanding of the continuous integration and automated testing

Should have knowledge about Agile techniques like: CI/CD, TDD, BDD, Pairing, Automated Testing

Advanced experience of JIRA and Confluence

Practitioner level Agile certifications, e.g. CSM, CSP, ICP-ACC, SAFe-SPC, etc

Preferred Domain Knowledge

Must have at least 5 years of hands on experience working in a bank or Financial Institution

Must have had experience in Business Analysis

Good Credit Risk domain experience preferred.

Domain knowledge on financial instruments and derivatives, trading and risk management, excess management processes and credit risk methodologies.

Good understanding of credit risk measures, risk process and reporting.

Strong analytical & problem solving and creative skills

Good communication skills in both written and oral English

At least 5 years of hands on experience working in a bank or Financial Institution

Ability to be organised and multi-task on different requirements across various stakeholders, and to work independently and under pressure

Cultural sensitivity and awareness to work with a range of people from diverse background and geographies

Should have a technical or numerate degree in subjects such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics, advanced degree preferred
