VOD/OTT Developer

we are looking for a hands on engineering team lead to join our existing team as we finalize the launch of our alpha product. This role will report directly to the CTO and will work closely with the VNP architect in order to:

1. Coordinate development in an efficient manner across the team using Gitlab to manage code and Jira to manage tasks in an agile manner with fully integrated CI/CD for Dev, Test and Prod instances of our app.

2. Continuously refine and improve the design, architecture and implementation of our service across development, test and production instances.

3. Work together with the team to help define and solve complex engineering problems.

4. Ensure work is done to standard and with proper documentation to ensure a high quality and sustainable service is maintained for our subscribers.

We expect the successful candidate will have the following experience and skillset:

1. At least 3 years working with similar technologies and/or similar services in a management capacity. e.g. designing and/or maintaining an OTT/VOD service.

2. For the lead role: At least 2 years working in a coordinating or managerial role where you are responsible f
or both managing engineers as well as commits, merge requests and the code base in an agile environment.

3. Referenceable system design and documentation experience for a video streaming application.
